siteInspire
a showcase of the very best web and interaction design today, started primarily as a tool to keep track of web design trends and inspirational sites.
Specializing in the design and development of online platforms and applications, available for project commissions or consultation.
I have been a professional web designer and developer for over six years via careers in advertising finance, and management consulting. My clients span a broad range of industries, and projects include portfolio sites through to fully bespoke custom-built enterprise applications.
When the project need arises, I draw on a close-knit network of excellent designers and developers, principally from the audience and contributors of siteInspire, and often collaborate with agencies and independent designers.
Development skills include HTML(5)/CSS(3), Javascript (jQuery and Coffeescript), Ruby on Rails, PHP (Codeigniter), ExpressionEngine, SQL, and Git. I'm proficient in functional architecture, data modelling, UX/UI design, wireframe development, branding consultation, social media, and content creation/curation.
I am interested in helping clients design and prototype complex online platforms, especially for new companies and startups but I welcome discussion of any sort of project.
I have been lucky enough to work with a diverse variety of clients and collaborate with incredible designers and developers, including:
YCN, Streeters, Re-format, MAD Agency London, Dazed Group, Ben Stott, Boisdale, Art & Sole, Inventory Studio, Aedas Research, dn&co, APA, Lomalogue, Johanna Lundberg, ChambersJudd, Please, Pentagram
